This was a fun one and a bit challenging as although I used several reference photos, the majority of this came from my imagination. It is always hard to translate what is in my head onto a canvas! Photo references are such a big help so I can continually check and correct my work for accuracy. This painting was mores to convey the overall vibe of a moody, intelligent creature.
