This is my first diptych portraying a handsome mule deer in tall grass.
Driving through the prairies early morning at the end of November in 2020, the sun reflected off the frost-coated grasses. Before I left Nova Scotia, everyone warned me driving across the prairies is boring and unending but I found the subtle colours and lighting to be astonishingly beautiful.
